Annual Fund

In 2007-08 our Annual Fund is dedicated to the memory of Earl Street.

In Loving Memory

Earl Street

~a shining light who touched everyone~

Thank you all for making his tribute on September 21, 2007 so special. Many Students, Parents, and Alumni spoke about the power Earl had in touching our lives so deeply. He was a part of our family for 27 years. Words cannot express how incredibly he is missed. Physically he may have left us, but his spirit and enthusiasm will live in our hearts forever.

The Earl Spirit Fund will:

* Create a scholarship
to help disadvantaged students attend the International Spring Trip.
* Support social skills
development in classes on Uncommon Wednesdays.

While gift size may vary, our goal is to achieve 100% support from parents and alumni. The size of the gift is second to participation - we ask only that you examine your resources and your heart and that you give according to your means.
Checks can be made payable to The Child School.

"My favorite aspect of school is that the teachers go all the way to help you."
By Alexa M., 10th Grade

Dear Parents,

          Every day we are thankful that our children have a school like The Child School/Legacy High School.  We hear so many positive comments from parents, such as, "It's a magical place," "The staff looks at disabilities not as a limitation, but as a challenge," "The faculty knows how to help my child,"  "I like that the school consistently tries to improve itself and is never complacent," and "They never give up on a child's ability to learn a concept." As parents, we can trust that the complex needs of every student are addressed on an individual basis allowing our children to actualize their full potential.
    As we look at our children, we appreciate the gift of their education, and what it brings to help them become productive, independent members of society. Please join us in support of our school and our kids, so we continue to give them that gift. Be a part of it, give to the Annual Fund.

Warmest Regards,
