• Our graduation rate is exemplary. Most of our students, 82%, receive Regents and RCT diplomas, a notable sign of success given the climate of special education in New York City’s public school system where only 12% of special education students are receiving academic diplomas according to a recent report by Advocates for Children.
  
  
• Student Phillip R. won 1st Place in the NCLD (National Center for Learning Disabilities) Poetry Competition.
  
  

• The Annual Spring Trip is an opportunity for 30 students to travel overseas and learn the culture, geography, and history of another country firsthand. The goals of the program are to develop independence, responsibility and teamwork, to foster socialization, and to prepare children for the experience of being separated from their parents.

• The June Play, our signature event, is unsurpassed in its conceptual vision, precision and artistic quality. It is remarkable to watch learning disabled students given a chance to shine. A role is developed for each student that best combines his needs with his talents and functions as a tool for therapeutic intervention plus speech/ language remediation. The performance is filled with magical moments, where children “breathe life into their character” and are empowered to find their voice!
