2023 - 2024 Events

Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year!

The Child School is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its founding in 1973 this year. 

A mural in our High School building commemorating The Child School's 50th anniversary was unveiled during a ceremony with students from across our three programs in attendance. 

Students and staff in our Elementary program had a lot of fun on Halloween this year with our continued tradition of a pajama day. 

Our Legacy Basketball team made it to the championship game!  Truly edge of the seat, palpitations-inducing, and nail-biting thriller it was. Although we lost 25-22 in the last 30 seconds of the game, our team's energy was incredible, their efforts and discipline were admirable. After a three-year hiatus in after-school sports, this was a new team playing for their first championship game and for all of us at The Child School they are champions!

On May 6th, some of our High School students were inducted into the National Honor Society. 

On Friday, June 14th our 6th grade students moved up to Middle School!

In a ceremony held in our gym, our 8th graders moved up to High School on Friday, June 21st. 

Our seniors graduated on Monday, June 24th in a ceremony featuring moving speeches by a few of our graduates as well as alumni. Congratulations to the Class of 2024!
