2025 - 2026 Events
Welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year!
Our Summer Session is off to a great start this year. On Monday, 7/14, our Elementary students participated in the first of our Summer Theme Days - Wear Shades for Vishu! Students wore their best sunglasses and posed for keepsake photos to take home.
It was a fun summer at The Child School. Students blew bubbles with their classes, made tie-dye shirts, and had theme days each Monday! They learned about different cultures and celebrated them throughout the summer - our 7th graders had a chance to celebrate Holi by throwing colors. Students decorated crowns to wear for our final theme day!
For the second-to-last day of our summer program, our Elementary School students enjoyed having their faces (and arms!) painted. It was a fun day for all!
To commemorate October as Anti-Bullying Awareness month, our Elementary School students and staff wore yellow to represent kindness.
Our Elementary School students had fun during our annual Halloween pajama day! Students got to take home pictures of themselves in our Halloween-themed photo booth. Our youngest class went trick-or-treating around the classrooms.
On November 13th we held our first in a series of parent Career Days for the younger students in our Elementary program. We are grateful to all parent speakers for taking time off from work and making it an engaging morning with their presentations. Next up is Career Day for our High School on December 4th.
After a successful Parent Career Day in Elementary School, High School parents had a room full of students asking thought-provoking questions regarding their presentations. Next stop Middle School...
Students in our Elementary School kicked off this year's Holiday Spirit Week with "Funny Sweater Day". Stay tuned for more fun themes!
Nicole's 6th grade class has been learning all about civilizations. Inspired by their recent field trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, they created these dioramas depicting Ancient Egypt.
Our Holiday Spirit Week continues with "Twins Day" on Tuesday. Students got to take home keepsake photos of with their twins! The High School joined in starting Wednesday with "Kids Dress Like Teachers/Teachers Dress Like Kids" Day. Staff and students had a lot of fun dressing like each other!
Our 3rd grade students enjoyed a winter themed Physical Education lesson - a "snowball" fight from their hula-hoop "snow globes".
It was Team Spirit Thursday for the second to last day of our Elementary School's Holiday Spirit Week. Students and staff wore their favorite team's sports jerseys or sports related clothing.
